Baltic Storm (2004) NR - 2½ Stars

It's a documentary so I wanted to see it as it's based on a true story of a reporter that uncovers a military conspiracy behind the 1994 sinking of the Estonia. On September 28, 1994, 852 people died when the ship capsized sailing the Baltic Sea from Talinn to Stockholm. Lots of conspiracy theories but the acting is pretty poor.

Julia Reuter (Greta Scacchi) a journal is working on a story involving the Russian arms trade. Her goal was to board the Estonia and write from within the ship, but she misses the boat.

Erik Westermark (Jürgen Prochnow), is one of the survivors from the ship and he is also a Swedish attorney. He's lost his son from the disaster and together with Julia they try to get to the truth behind the sinking. Gen. Aldryn (Donald Sutherland) is a Pentagon official.

I didn't feel like I knew any more about the truth after watching the movie and this is the only image I could find.
