Ving Rhames is a black buff and tough dude but, he surrenders to blackmail and returns to fighting for money in prison, to keep his son out of jail.James "Animal" Allen (Ving Rhames) is back in the sequel to the 2004 "Animal" movie. He's doing a life sentence for murder at Folsom Prison. He's later transferred to Susanville Prison after a riot breaks out between the Blacks and Mexicans.
At Susanville he finds out his oldest son Darius (Vicellous Reon Shannon), has been framed for murder on the outside. He knows his son is encapable of murder, so he must do what ever he can from inside prison walls to keep his son out of jail. When he learns the one doing the framing is inside the prison walls, he's forced into blackmail returning to the rings of underground boxing to keep his son free. While dad takes the punches, James Jr. with a lawyer to find as much evidence as he can to try and clear his name and stay out of jail.
