Cube (1997) R - 2½ Stars

Six people find themselves trapped together in a cube like prison of interlocking mazes. The six wake up to find each other wearing prison garb and no one can remember how they got there. One thing for sure though some of the cubes have been found to be fatal. Alderson (Julian Richings) while searching for an exit enters a cube that slices him to his death. They find they must try and stick together as everyone seems to have a talent for helping in their escape. For example, Leaven (Nicole deBoer) is a math student that discovers prime numbers make up the correct code for safe entrance into most cubes. Dr. Holloway (Nicky Guadagni) a psychologist, Quentin (Maurice Dean-Wint) an ex cop, professional thief Rennes (Wayne Robson), Worth (David Hewlett) a government worker who thinks he remembers the cube project and Kazan (Andrew Miller) who is autistic. This strange group must find the answers to unlock their metal doom.
