Kate & Leopold (2001) PG13 - 3½ Stars

Kate McKay (Meg Ryan), is an up and coming executive in a New York City corporate advertising agency. Her job keeps her very busy and romance is not something she has time for. She lives in the same building as her ex-boyfriend Stuart (Liev Schreiber). Stuart has been secretly studying a portal back to the 1860's by jumping off the Manhatten bridge. The experiment takes him to meet Leopold (Hugh Jackman) the royal "Third Duke of Albany" in his own time. Leopold chases Stuart till they both fall back through the portal and end up in the 21st century.

Kate's brother Charlie, (Breckin Meyer) comes for a visit and he and Leopold hit it off and go out for a night on the town to pick up some girls. Leopold teaches Charlie the art of how to treat a lady and realizes he's really attracted to Kate. But when Leopold must go back to 1867, Kate must decide between climbing the corporate ladder or taking a jump at true love.
