World Trade Center (2006) PG13 - 3½ Stars

Who alive does not remember the tragic day of September 11, 2001. This movie is based on the real life events of two New York City's Port Authority that would became heroes that day. But the biggest problem with this movie is it sets you up for these heroes, and then focuses more on the endurance of the main character Nicolas Cage, rather than on their heroism.

Sergent John McLoughlin (Nicolas Cage) and William J. Jimeno (Michael Pena) were two officers working their routine beat when the planes hit the World Trade Center towers. McLoughlin and Jimeno were assigned the duty of evacuating the towers after the plane strikes. While in the process, the building collapses on them trapping them as victims too. Now it's a race against time to free them before their air runs out.
