P2 (2007) R - 3 Stars

These types of movies are not normally my favorites to watch as the acting is usually so cheesy. P2 is actually a decent rental om terror. With a plausible storyline, Nichols does an okay job engaging the viewer into her terror of being kidnapped by a psycho in love with her.

Angela Bridges (Rachel Nichols) is a workaholic and even though it is Christmas Eve, she is one of the last employees to leave for the night. When she gets to her car, she discovers it won't start. She attempts to call her family to tell them she'll be late but she gets no service underground in the structure. Thomas (Wes Bentley), the parking garage security, comes to her rescue and tries to give her a jump. He's lonely and invites her for Christmas dinner with him as he has decorated his office for the occasion. She shrugs it off and asks for help to the lobby to get a taxi instead. The taxi arrives but she finds herself locked inside the building with no way out. The next thing she knows, she is dressed in just her slip and chained to the table for dinner with Thomas. It seems he know much more about her than she thinks as he has been watching her by monitors for months now. Angela must now find her way out of this situation if she wants to see another day.
